Montana Restaurant

250 Richmond St. West, Toronto, Ontario Canada
'Montana is a cleverly designed warehouse space, filled with good-looking arts and craftsy chairs and tables. True, there is a slight Bonanza-like feel to the place, but it's sort of a '90s Bonanza. Western yeah, but contemporary, comfortable, very stylish and happening. (Kinda Post-Western, I guess -- Structuralist ed.) Which nowadays means loud, really loud.'
'It is big, really big, with two floors comprising a serious-looking bar, bustling double-level dining room, open kitchen at the rear, grills ablazing. Upstairs are the prerequisite mega-screens for sports viewing, pool tables where those with toned limbs and cute butts can show off their moves, and a fireplace -- 'cause what would the Ponderosa be without one?'
